In the opti MYOPIA HUB, visitors were able to experience scientifically sound approaches and practice-orientated solutions for evidence-based myopia management. The area was designed in collaboration with partners HOYA and EssilorLuxottica to showcase the latest findings and innovations in this field.
opti BOX AWARD
During opti 2025, start-ups from the frame sector presented their innovative ideas in the opti BOXES, specially designed stands for young companies. You can read about the winners of the prestigious opti BOX AWARD here.

The opti VISIONARY area offered insights into ground-breaking technologies and pioneering developments in the non-frame sector. Here, visitors were able to experience revolutionary approaches that pave the way for the future of optics.

Great music and a good atmosphere: the opti party was once again the perfect start to a successful opti in 2025.
opti SUSTAINABILITY HUB supported by FOCUS
The opti SUSTAINABILITY HUB, supported by FOCUS, was a central point of contact at opti 2025 for all topics relating to sustainability in the ophthalmic optics industry. Visitors were able to find out about environmentally friendly materials, sustainable production processes and responsible design. Expert presentations and discussions offered practical tips and suggestions on how to make the industry more environmentally friendly.
TOMORROW VISION
At opti 2025, the TOMORROW VISION area offered exciting insights into the many possibilities of contact lenses. Visitors were able to experience4 first hand how innovations and modern technologies have revolutionised the wearing of contact lenses. The area showed how the optical industry is adapting to the needs of the next generation and setting new standards.
opti Café powered by ZVA
The opti Café, supported by the Central Association of Opticians and Optometrists (ZVA), was the ideal meeting place for expert discussions and networking at opti 2025.
opti RUNWAY BAR
The opti RUNWAY BAR was located right next to the opti CAREER HUB and the opti BOXES, making it an ideal meeting place for socialising and business discussions. The cosy lounge with its appealing art installation invited visitors to relax before, during and after an eventful day at opti.
opti CAFÉ powered by ZVA
In the opti CAFÉ powered by ZVA, visitors were able to escape the hectic everyday life of the trade show. They enjoyed excellent coffee and other hot drinks in a modern atmosphere.
GUIDED TOURS
At opti, Selin Olmsted guided visitors through the trade show and presented the most fashionable frames 2026. Influencer Sarah Schleicher offered exclusive guided tours for the Next Generation.
opti FUTURE VISION HUB
Radically innovative: the new hub presented itself as a platform with vision. Whether lectures, best-practice examples or pitches - the hub was full of visions for the future that inspired visitors.
opti HAS THE FUTURE IN SIGHT
In Hall C3, participants found innovative ideas, numerous networking opportunities and a platform that brought together visionaries from different sectors. The future of the optical industry was shaped together.
The opti FUTURE VISION HUB was therefore a central meeting point for all those who wanted to take a look into the future of ophthalmic optics.
opti NEXT GENERATION HUB
This hub focussed on young talent: speed dating with companies from the ophthalmic optics industry made it possible to find internships or final thesis positions. Talks provided valuable tips.
opti SOCIAL MEDIA CONSULTATION
More visibility and more customers for your own business: At the opti SOCIAL MEDIA SPEAKING HOUR, participants received tips from professionals on how to improve their social media presence and increase traffic.
opti CAMPUS
Further training opportunities in the ophthalmic optics sector and nine specialised academies and universities: This is what awaited visitors at opti CAMPUS.
opti CHARITY
For philanthropists and eyewear fans: at opti CHARITY, great charity projects were presented that are committed to worldwide optical care.
DESIGN AT opti
opti is not only the leading trade show for the optics sector, the topic of frame design is also always strongly represented. For example, visitors were able to experience the new opti FRAME STAR AWARD as well as exciting contributions from Selin Olmsted and other experts and extensive input from the field of design.
opti FRAME STAR - THE AUDIENCE AWARD
Visitors had it in their hands: they could choose their favourite frame from numerous current collections and vote for their favourites on site using a QR code. The winner was announced live at the trade show.
