At opti 2025, we presented charity projects for eyewear fans and philanthropists. The non-profit organisations and associations are committed to worldwide optical care. Further information on the projects could be discovered in Hall C3.

EinDollarBrille is a complete solution for basic eye care in developing countries. The concept includes
- On-site production
- Education of the population and free eye tests
- Immediate completion and fitting of stable and visually appealing glasses
- Glasses maintenance and replacement lens service
EinDollarBrille ensures comprehensive and professional care by specially trained professionals that is financially self-supporting.

Creating the future: Entwicklungsdienst Deutscher Augenoptiker e.V. is committed to ensuring that young people receive training as opticians.
GUDD-ZWECK UG - BRILLEN-OHNE-GRENZEN
BRILLEN-ohne-Grenzen collects used glasses and distributes them to people in need worldwide. The aid campaigns are organised in such a way that they involve as little effort as possible for the donor.
MEHRBLICK – GLASSES FOR THE HOMELESS AND THOSE IN NEED gUG
With our network of volunteer opticians, we offer glasses consultations for poor people throughout Germany.
