There is a new approach to eyewear design in general and to the importance of colour, colour and surface design and the use of materials in particular. Colour expert Francesca Valan notes that consumer behaviour has evolved since the pandemic. Product design must change accordingly and should be less influenced by commercial cycles and fashion trends and more by conscious, individual choices based on personal decisions. After all, eyewear in particular expresses individual identity.
