The WAVE Contact Lens Designer Software makes designing and customizing freeform contact lenses easy. Based on corneal topography or tomography maps, this advanced CAD/CAM software enables the precise production of personalized contact lenses.
Whether spherical, toric, or freeform single-vision and multifocal contact lenses, the software ensures precise design adjustments, e.g. for front surface prisms, inverted geometry, aspheric and bi-toric designs, as well as combinations such as spherical centres with toric edges.
Important parameters such as lens diameter, thickness, optical zones, and edge profiles can be easily adjusted. The software offers automatic design and modification functions to simplify even complex adjustments for cases such as irregular corneas, post-refractive surgery, corneal transplants, and keratoconus. Additionally, the adjustment of the optical and treatment zones for Ortho-K lenses is straightforward and considers challenges like against-the-rule astigmatism, low eccentricity, and oval zones.
