For over 75 years, Koberg & Tente has been offering high-quality eyeglass frames with a good price-performance ratio. We are an owner-managed company based in Münster (Westphalia) and serve specialist eye optics stores in Germany, Benelux, France and Austria.
We have been producing eyeglass frames in Germany since 2013: the KOBERG collection.
The hinge, designed specifically for the KOBERG collection, was developed by graduate designer Josef Lanta, who also designed the first shapes.
The design team from Studio Spektakel contributed a second design line. For the new models, the characteristic cylindrical hinge has been translated into a lighter, more delicate shape.
A titanium line has been completing the KOBERG collection since 2022. For this purpose, the cylindrical hinge was changed into a new flat shape.
Together with DEOMA AG, the designs are implemented, developed into a product and produced in Gerlingen. The final assembly takes place at the K&T Brillenbau in Münster.
