The company Ursula Hotstegs was founded in 1964 and already started in the same year with products such as eyeglass chains, jewelry loupes, and other optical accessories. Over the years, a manufacturing and wholesale company was formed from that time, which now supplies many optical stores worldwide. Nevertheless, today's company UOPTIK! is still an independent, tradition-conscious family business.
Many of our eyeglass chains are manufactured by UOPTIK! in Germany. This allows us to offer products that differentiate you as a specialty store from discounters. In addition to quality, innovation is one of the key features of our offerings. Do you have requests for customization or need a special production? Many of our items can be flexibly adapted to your needs if it's not meant to be off-the-shelf.

This allows you to receive displays specifically tailored to the color scheme of your sales area. Furthermore, many products can be personalized for your end customers, whether it's lenses, cases, or frames. There are almost no limits here.
For the year 2024, there are additional focal points in the area of custom printed materials such as microfiber cloths and eyeglass cleaning spray planned. In addition, there are new products in eyeglass chains, reading glasses, and from our distribution partners Slastik, ThinOptics, COCOONS und Frank und Lucie.
