The choroid: Structure and significance for myopia
The middle layer of the eye, the choroid, is one of the most heavily perfused tissues in the human body and is essential for the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the retina. We explain the effects on eye diseases and myopia in particular and present approaches in experimental ophthalmology.
