FAQ for visitors

How do I get to opti?

opti is easy to reach. You can choose from different possibilities from public means of transportation as well as taxi services. The subway U2 with its stop "Messestadt West" is close by the trade show. 

We listed all you travel choices here.

Where to park?

There are enough parking spaces available for both vendors and visitors. During your event, our traffic control system will guide you to vacant parking spaces. The parking lot and the Parkhaus West parking garage open two hours before the event begins and close two hours after the event ends.

Parking space P3 and P4 (North entrance): 12 € per day

Parking space West (Northwest entrance): 17 € per day


Parking spaces for visitors with limited mobility:

You will find disabled parking spaces in sectors A and B on all levels of the Parkhaus West (western car park), near the exits and lifts. Visitors with a disabled pass indicating a severe lack of mobility can park for free: for this, please collect a free exit-ticket from the parking facility management office in the car park, sector B, floor O by presenting your disabled pass.

What are the opening times?

opti 2025 will take place from 31 to 2 February 2025 at the Munich Exhibition Centre and has the following opening hours: 

Friday, 31 January  10:00 a.m. - 07:00 p.m.
Saturday, 1 February 10:00 a.m. - 07:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2 February  10:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.

 

Where do I find the site plan?

Where do I get the visitor guide?

The visitor guide of opti is free of charge. You can get it at any infocounter at the trade show and at the entrances beginning from Friday. 

Where is the wardrobe and the lockers?

You can find the wardrobe and lockers on the lower and the upper level of the Northwest entrance and on the upper level of the North entrance .

    Friday - Sunday 8 am - 11 pm

After this, any unclaimed clothing will be brought to the lost and found. The lost and found is located in the security centre in the trade fair complex, at Gate 1 (Willy-Brandt-Allee 1, 81829 Munich), and is open for 24 hours a day.

Lockers:

  • Cost: 1,00 € for each time they are locked

The lockers are only suitable for hand luggage. Larger items of luggage can also be left securely at the wardrobe.

Is the trade fair accessible?

The Munich trade fair centre is completely accessible. The access areas, entrances, halls, and elevators are all designed to be wheelchair accessible. Our services for visitors with limited mobility:

Lifts

  • The entire trade fair centre is equipped with wheelchair-accessible lifts, allowing you to seamlessly transition between levels. The lifts can be found at the north-side of hall C.

Wheelchair rental

  • Mechanical wheelchairs can be borrowed in exchange for a 50,00 € cash deposit. They can be requested at all information counters at every entrance.

May I take my dog to the fair?

No, according to Messe München's house and user rules it is not allowed to bring animals onto the exhibition grounds with the exception of guide dogs and other assistance dogs.

opti offers free wireless internet access to all visitors in the exhibition halls.

Where can I find a cash machine?

You can withdraw cash from the following nearby cash machines:

  • At the entrance of the underground station "Messestadt West": Stadtsparkasse München
  • At the shopping mall Riem Arcaden, Willy-Brandt-Platz 5, 81829 Munich: Münchner Bank and Stadtsparkasse München
  • In the parking garage close to  entrance Northwest and in the entrance North
