How do I get to opti?

The quickest way to reach opti is by public transport. The underground station of line U2 “Messestadt West” is located directly at the Munich exhibition centre.

You can access opti via the North and North-West entrances.

Where can I park?

You will find plenty of parking spaces directly at the exhibition centre.

Car parks for visitors:

  • Open-air car park P3 and P4 (North Entrance): €15 per day
  • West multi-storey car park (North-West Entrance): €21 per day

Parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility:

In the West multi-storey car park, disabled parking spaces are located on each level in sectors A and B near the staircases and lifts.

Disabled persons with a disabled badge can park free of charge: Please collect a free exit ticket from the car park management office in the multi-storey car park, sector B, level O, on presentation of your disabled pass.

opti 2027 will take place from 29 January to 31 January 2027 at the Munich Exhibition Centre and has the following opening hours

Friday, 29 January 202710.00 a.m. - 7.00 p.m.
Saturday, 30 January 202710.00 a.m. - 7.00 p.m.
Sunday, 31 January 202710.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. 
Where can I find the site plan?

As soon as the site plan is available, you will find it here.

Where can I get the trade show guide?

The opti MAP is available from the first day of the show at all information desks at the trade show and at the entrances.

Where can I find cloakrooms and lockers?

Cloakrooms and lockers are located on the lower and upper floors of the North-West Entrance and on the upper floor of the North Entrance.

Cloakrooms:

  • Chargeable
  • Opening hours:
    Friday - Sunday 8.00 a.m. - 11.00 p.m.

After this time, unclaimed items of clothing will be taken to the lost property office. The lost property office is located in the Security Centre in the Messehaus at Gate 1 (Willy-Brandt-Allee 1, 81829 Munich) and is open around the clock.

Lockers:

  • Cost: €1.00 per locker

The lockers are only suitable for hand luggage. Larger items of luggage can be left at the cloakrooms.

Is the trade show accessible?

The Munich exhibition centre its access areas, entrances, halls and lifts are wheelchair accessible.

Lifts

The entire exhibition centre is equipped with wheelchair-accessible passenger lifts that make it easy to move between levels. The lifts are located on the north sides of the C halls.

Wheelchair hire

Mechanical wheelchairs are available for hire for a deposit of €50.00 in cash. You can request these at the information counters in all entrances.

Can I take my dog with me to the trade show?

No, as the Munich Trade show Centre's house rules do not permit animals.

Exceptions are guide dogs for the blind and other assistance dogs. You have the following alternatives near the trade show:

Is there WiFi?

opti offers all visitors free WiFi throughout the opti site.

Where do I find an ATM?

You can withdraw cash from the following nearby EC machines:

  • Underground entrance Messestadt West – Stadtsparkasse München
  • ICM Atrium, Willy-Brandt-Platz 5, 81829 Munich – Münchner Bank and Stadtsparkasse München
  • In the multi-storey car park at the North-West Entrance and the North Entrance
