LARS BRILLEN WINS THE COVETED OPTI-AWARD

At its very first participation in an international industry trade fair, LARS Brillen from Bern outperformed eight international eyewear labels and secured the prestigious OPTI award as best newcomer. «We travelled to OPTI to learn and to get to know the international industry scene. The fact that we were able to return home with the OPTI Award in our pocket exceeds all our expectations!» says Silvia Nadenbousch, Co-Founder and Head of Branding & Marketing.

HOLISTIC CONCEPT CONVINCES JURY
The nominees were judged on the basis of four criteria: innovation, design, functionality and sustainability. The young company from Bern convinced the expert jury with its holistic approach. The click-in hinge is patented. Together with the ergonomic nose section, the glasses ensure a perfect fit and provide a carefree wearing experience. In addition, the good glazability was praised. «Several years of development, countless analyses of anatomical data and a lot of passion for timeless designs have gone into the frames – the award is a wonderful recognition for all the effort,» says Simon Krähenbühl, Co-Founder and Head of Design & Innovation.
