Every year in January, experts and creatives in the optics industry display their newest products at the Fairground Munich.

As an international trade show for optics and design, opti represents the whole visual-optical spectrum, from frames to lenses, contact lenses, low vision, shop fittings, IT, marketing and sales, instruments/tools/spectacle elements, accessories as well as technical equipment and professional education.

At the same time, opti offers a platform for product premieres for both international market leaders and start-ups alike.

In detail:

  • 27.277 trade visitors from 89 countries. National trade visitors: 70%. International trade visitors: 30%.
  • 557 exhibitors from 35 countries. National exhibitors: 49%. International exhibitors: 51%.
  • Visitors gave top ratings for the quality of the exhibitors (94%), their presentations of new products (95%) and the athmosphere in general at opti 2017 (95%).
  • 97% of the exhibitors say: We'll be back at opti 2018!
